Pan American Sound
Pan American Sound in Nashville is the main studio home of PB & WPA Ballclub and the productions of Glider Records Ltd.  PAS is dedicated to capturing live performances. The studio's acoustic design was inspired by Producer Don Law's (Columbia Records, Robert Johnson) private studio in Nashville used to rehearse Ray Price, Johnny Cash, Johnny Horton, and Flatt & Scruggs during Law's tenure as head of Columbia in the 1950s. Read all about the studio in Mix, eMusician, and Rolling Stone and discover the entire WPAB catalog in our Mercantile and Discography pages.

You can also hear PAS in action on David Olney's Predicting the Past, "Cannonball" from Great Chicago Fire by PB & Waco Brothers, Shownali Bhowmiks's 100 Oaks Revival, Rachel Davis on Dear Jean: Artists Celebrate Jean Ritchie, and Garry Tallent's Break Time. Photos include GRAMMY winners bassist Dennis Crouch and multi-instrumentalist Fats Kaplin.
